In 2018, following a strategic reorientation, Flevoplant made a significant investment in expanding their production capabilities by increasing the number of cuttings and trays. To support this growth, Ammerlaan Construction constructed a new 2.8-hectare greenhouse. To efficiently manage the additional labor requirements, Flevoplant has deployed nineteen multifunctional crop carts that automate the process of moving plants in and out of the greenhouse.
