Since 2016, Siberia Greenhouse has been cultivating its lettuce and leafy crops using the advanced cultivation gutter system in the new greenhouse built by Ammerlaan Construction. This innovative cultivation method allows Siberia Greenhouse to produce the same amount of lettuce on approximately 9 acres as would traditionally require 90 acres.
The unique cultivation system also enables Siberia Greenhouse to supply “cold” vegetables year-round. This not only enhances logistical convenience between supplier and customer but also minimizes the use of plant protection products.
